last year at this time...

I joined the club!

Motherhood.

Ever since I was little I remember wanting to be two things...
a veterinarian and a mom.
My wishes of being a vet quickly changed when I realized a few things,
- not all dogs are nice
- Vets have to help cats too
- and they don't really just play with puppies all day.

Well that left me with my dream of being a mother. And not just any mother, but just like MY mother!
She is darling. She is amazing, and selfless and kind, humble, CLEAN, an awesome cook, and kids just love her!

Well last year my dream came true, and it is EVERYTHING i ever thought it would be. Giving birth was such a humbling, exciting and spiritual experience. I would go back to that moment in a heartbeat if I could.
I remember wondering for MONTHS what Hazyl would look like and as soon as I saw her, I thought,
of course! This is my Hazy!!
She was every bit as beautiful as I dreamed. I had no idea I could love someone other than my sweet husband SO much!
It was so fun to see Tyson fall completely in love as well.
Being parents has brought us together as well.
I've said it 100,000 times but I absolutely believe it.

BABIES BRING BLESSINGS.
Hazy was no exception!

Well one (very fast) year later, Hazyl and I have both survived. Her as my daughter and me as her mother. It has honestly been my most favorite year so far! I have loved every stage of this little girls life and am so grateful I am able to stay home with her all day, I feel like I have soaked up every. possible. hazy moment. I love her more now than I ever thought possible.

I love this lady even more now as well. I would have never imagined it, but I probably rely on her more now than I ever have. She is always there to chat or answer my questions or watch my sweet baby. (or I should say "willing to watch my sweet baby" since I am SO BAD at leaving her! haha) Thank you Mom for always being there. You mean the world to me and I hope to grow up JUST like you! or close ;)

I was absolutely SPOILED this mothers day. Ty wrote me a letter (which is always my most favorite gift)and surprised me with a diaper bag I have been drooling over for quite some time now! He picked the perfect color and I definitely did not see it coming! It was such a fun surprise.
I was able to spend the day with my mom and sisters and all the boys cooked a delicious dinner for us!
It was perfect.

I think this is my new favorite holiday.
