What matters most.

After conference weekend does anyone else feel like NOTHING else matters more than family?


I do.

I have been putting off family pictures for months now. 

I needed a new outfit. 

we didn't have the money. 

I needed to lose 20 lbs.

I needed find cute outfits for the girls. 

I wanted to get my teeth whitened.
My hair done.
My legs shaved.
A TAN.

blah blah blah. 

I had this perfect idea for family pics, 

I really wanted them candid and I wanted them to be real. 

In our home,

on our bed. 

Finally I caved. 

Who cares about those 20 lbs. 

Who cares about skinny arms 

or a flat stomach?

Well I do. 

I REALLY do. 

I gave in,  

jumped in our bed...in our PJ's. 

and had a BLAST.

 

As I flip through these pictures, I am SO glad we did them.

A big shout out to Stephanie Hyde, she took them and I edited them.

 she was INCREDIBLE with Hazy!

Despite my insecurities this is EXACTLY how I will remember these early days of our baby girls. 

I will cherish these photos forever.
